 Welcome to the official website of Group 2 Headquarters, Florida Wing, Civil Air Patrol. Our Group is made up of 12 squadrons, and geographically covers more than 15 counties.
Our Commander is Lt Col Joseph Wisniewski.
Group 2 hosts six aircraft, including five powered aircraft and one glider. Our cadets are also second-to-none, and are the current National Color Guard Champions.
Our members are a well-trained team, and stand "At the Ready" to perform Missions for America.

Command of Group II will be passed from Lt Col John Edsall to Lt Col Joe Wisniewski at 1900 hrs, Tuesday evening 16 June 2009. The Change of Command ceremony will take place at Landmark Aviation, Jim Taylor Field in Ocala, FL.
Uniform of the Day is Service Dress. All members are invited and encouraged to attend.

 1st Lt Adkinson

1st Lt Justin Adkinson has been named Assistant Deputy Commander of St Augustine Senior Squadron (SER-FL-173), having previously served as the Group 3 Assistant Administrative/Personnel Officer in St Petersburg.
"I’m deeply honored to have been chosen as the new deputy commander," Adkinson said. "I am proud to be part of a squadron that has set a standard of excellence in every kind of measurement."
