Group 2 has vans located in Ocala (Marion County), Tallahassee, and Jacksonville. To schedule one of the vans in Group 2 for an activity, do the following:

1. If you need to schedule a van other than the one assigned to your unit, first look at the calendar on the Group 2 website to see if it is already scheduled. If not, contact the unit to which the van is assigned to make sure they are aware of your request.
2. The custodial unit should then place the reservation on the calendar. To do this,
1. Log in to the Group 2 website.
2. Click "Events Calendar" in the left hand menu.
3. Click "Add Event."
4. Enter the appropriate details for the reservation. It's helpful to title the reservation "[Unit] Van Reserved." In the event description, enter any applicable information about the activity, purpose, etc. Enter a contact person from the reserving unit (name is fine). Be sure to set the correct duration for the reservation.
5. IMPORTANT: Select the appropriate category. There is a category in the drop-down list for each van.
6. After you submit the reservation, it will be emailed to the Group 2 webmaster for approval/posting. This is just a safety mechanism to ensure that spammers do not flood our calendar with events. Please note that custodial units must notify the Wing Transportation Officer if a van is to be away from its home unit for more than 48 hours. In addition, the Wing Commander requires a courtesy email requesting permission if the van is going to be used to transport outside of the state of Florida. This policy is designed to locate emergency service assets quickly when a need for their use occurs.
